MONTHLY CELEBRATION HOUR

NEXT DATE: November 24, 2024

Events, Projects, and More:

Fall Sermon Series -  Our fall sermon series is looking at the letter of First Corinthians. The Sunday School class that meets in the Adult Lounge will engage in a deeper study of the letter guided by the Andrew Wilson book, 1 Corinthians For You. If you have any questions, please ask Rev. Rach.

Play It Forwards Pittsburgh 2024 Toy Drive-   Level Green Church will serve as a collection site again this year for the Play it Forward Toy Drive. It’s a gently used children's toy drive. Donate your gently used or new toys, games,
electronics, sports equipment, bikes and DVD movies. We will NOT be collecting books or stuffed animals this year. Donations will be collected From Friday, November 15 through Friday, December 6.

Christ The King Sunday -  Our Deacons will be delivering their Thanksgiving Baskets that day and need your help carrying those to vehicles. They are also hosting Fellowship Hour following 10:30 AM worship. Our Hanging of the Greens will also take place following 10:30 AM worship.

Hurricane Relief -  Our Session approved a $6,000 donation to Samaritan’s Purse. They offer this challenge to the congregation: donate $6,000 by Thanksgiving Day, November 28. Checks can be made out to Level Green Presbyterian Church and earmarked for “Hurricane Relief”. All money given for hurricane relief will go to Samaritan’s Purse.

Announcements:

Free Little Library-   We are looking for book donations for the little free library that we will be putting up outside of the church. Any books for adults, young readers and children! We would like to have a nice variety of faith based options. There will be a collection bin near the office for your book donations. Thank you for your help with this project!

New Members-  A new members class will be held this fall. If you desire to become a member of this congregation or have any questions about what it means to be a member of Level Green Presbyterian Church, please contact Rev. Rach.

Nursery Parents-  It is our goal to staff our nursery every Sunday for the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service. However, when this is not possible, please be aware that our nursery room will be open during this time. If your child is having difficulty in service, you are welcome to go with your child to the nursery. The room is equipped for you to be able to hear the service while you are with them. The Nursery is also open during our 8:00 a.m.

Cool Whip Containers-  The Presbyterian Women will be collecting Cool Whip containers with lids again. Our supply is very low. Thank you!

Worship Helpers - Just say “Good Morning,” hand out bulletins, pass collection plates and count how many folks are here. Please call the office and let us know when you can help. Please write a note on the Fellowship Pad if you are willing to help.
Please consider giving it a try…
